Vintage Victor Bakelite Faux Woodgrain Adding Machine w/ Cover – Great – Works Picture(s) and Description:

This is an older Victor adding machine. I believe it's bakelite. It's has a pretty cool faux wood grain deco look to it. It's in really nice condition. No damage whatsoever that I can see. It does work but it could use a new ribbon. I tested all the keys and the only issue is the 2nd bank of keys on the left looking at the machine didn't want to stay down (if you held them down they print). I took it apart (looks great inside as well) and (excuse my ignorance here) there was a part on that bank that wasn't quite out as far as all the others, so I pushed it out with a knife and they worked for a bit. I think it just needs an adjustment if you know what you're doing with these. Just trying to describe as accurately as possible. I'm guessing that these are more of a collectors show piece than actually being used so it's not an issue anyway. It does come with a cover that's getting brittle and showing wear. See the pictures - I took a bunch so they should do a better job at describing than I did. Feel free to ask questions. I ship to the contiguous US only.
